This book is a collection of the talks given by Swami Muktananda during his tour of America in 1970.

Baba Muktananda is a God-realized Being. He is of the lineage of the Siddhas, the men who make supreme magic. He has the power to awaken you by a look, word, touch or thought. He prescribes no classical yogic practices except one, Guru's Grace. When the Guru's Grace is experienced, without effort, you may spontaneously perform hatha yoga postures, see visions and inner lights, hear inner music, taste the divine nectar and enjoy the bliss of the inner Self. When Baba speaks he brings the light of truth into your daily life. He tells hilarious yet instructive stories of his life in India as a wandering monk and unheard of tales of ancient sages. People are moved from laughter to a profound inner experience as his tales unfold. His message is "Kneel to your own Self. Honor and worship your own Being. Meditate on your own Self. God dwells within you as you." Most of Baba's talks were introduced by Ram Dass, formerly Richard Alpert, who has become a spiritual leader and guide in his own right in the Hindu traditions. Although at the time he met Baba Muktananda he was a devout disciple of Indian guru Nim Karoli Baba, he realised upon touching Baba's feet that Baba and his guru were one. He agreed at that moment to accompany Muktananda on his tour and to introduce Baba to the American people.
