John Kaviarasu is an award-winning Social Work educator and practitioner with 18+ years of teaching experience at Loyola College (Autonomous), Chennai, where he currently serves at the School of Human Excellence. He holds an MSW (Loyola), M.Phil (Bharathidasan), and Ph.D. (University of Madras), complemented by 5 years of fieldwork in Tamil Nadu’s urban/rural communities. Recognized as Best Social Scientist (Loyola, 2016 & 2023) and a sought-after faculty trainer, he consults for NGOs, drafts research projects, and has published 75+ articles on social work, slum development, health, and environment. He is also a life-skills trainer and freelance research consultant.

Dr. Mathew Arumai is the Head of the Department of Social Work at SRM University, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. With extensive experience in social work education and practice, he leads academic programs, research initiatives, and community outreach efforts. His expertise spans community development, fieldwork supervision, and social policy. Prior to SRM, he contributed to academia and social sectors through teaching, research, and NGO collaborations. Dr. Arumai holds a Ph.D. in Social Work and actively promotes interdisciplinary approaches to address contemporary social challenges. Dr. D. John Paul is a renowned author and expert in Industrial Relations, Labour Legislation & Welfare, with over 20 years in academia, research, and consultancy.
