Engineering is applied aspect of Science. Thus, students of Engineering essentially be taught fundamentals of Science, and in the study of Engineering more scope for the Science be given. Considering the scope given for the study of Physics, this text is prepared, where we have included the topics: (i) Wave Optics, (ii) Electromagnetic Theory, (iii) Relativistic Mechanics, (iv) Wave Mechanics, and (v) Wave Motion. While preparing the text, care is taken that it is prepared for an average student in easily understandable language, and each topic is developed from the root level.
